As you probably already know, Yoast SEO is a WordPress SEO plugin that helps you improve your search engine rankings. Another very popular plugin that a lot of people also use is Elementor. It allows you to create beautiful and fully functional marketing websites and landing pages without writing a single line of code. To let you work seamlessly on your SEO while building your pages, Yoast SEO has been integrated into Elementor! In this post, we explain how the integration works.
Using Yoast SEO in Elementor
To get started creating a new page in Elementor and optimizing it with Yoast SEO, follow these steps:
1- Open the page overview screen and click on the Add new button.
The page editing screen will open.
2- Click the Edit with Elementor button.
You will be on the Elementor page edit screen.
3- Once in the Elementor editor, build the page as you normally would.
4- To access the Yoast SEO sidebar, click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper left corner.
Note: You can also click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner to reveal a menu that will give you access to Yoast SEO.
5- Select Yoast SEO from the menu.
By clicking on the hamburger menu, you can select the Yoast SEO menu item (1 in the image below). Alternatively, by clicking on the gear icon, you can select the Yoast SEO tab (2 in the image below). Selecting Yoast SEO will give you access to the Yoast SEO sidebar.
6- Use the Yoast SEO sidebar settings to optimize your content.
Yoast SEO analyzes every content block you use in Elementor. Parsing is the same as in the regular block editor or classic WordPress editor. So all Yoast SEO (Premium) features are also available in Yoast SEO sidebar in Elementor.
